A First Class Concert Series at affordable prices

The Los Gatos Concert Association is celebrating its 76th year of bringing world-class entertainment to the West Valley community at affordable prices. The all-volunteer, nonprofit organization has hosted a variety of talent over the years, including symphony orchestras, chorales, brass ensembles, wind symphonies, opera companies, string quartets, pianists, dance performances, comedians, vocal ensembles and soloists, guitarists, organists, and musical theater.

Participation in the Four-Concert Series is by annual Season Subscription. Concerts are scheduled annually from September through May. Various categories of membership are offered, including Season Tickets to all four concerts in the Series. Season ticket prices are $75 for Adults, $70 for Seniors, $15 for Students and $165 for Families. This Season package offers a savings over single ticket purchases. The annual Subscription renewal period is from May – September each year. Partial Season Ticket Subscriptions are available as appropriate.

Single Tickets may be purchased on a space available basis online previous to each event. They will be posted here, or purchased at the door one hour before curtain. Single ticket prices are $30 for adults, $25 for seniors, $5 for students and a $65 family plan of two adults plus students under 25 living at home.

Concerts are held at the renovated Los Gatos High School Theatre, Prentiss Brown Auditorium, on Sunday afternoons at 2:30 pm. Doors open at 2:00 pm with open seating.

Duo Beaux Arts

International competition winning ensemble Duo Beaux Arts was formed in 2008 by world renowned husband and wife concert pianists and recording artists Catherine Lan and Tao Lin. Tao is described by critics as a versatile pianist possessing keen musical intelligence, whereas Dr. Lan is credited with fluent technique and sensitive musicianship. The duo is known for adrenalized performances.

Combining classical and world music, Jaca brings an adventurous, passionate, and completely original musical style to the stage. This duo features acclaimed clarinet soloist Wesley Ferreira, and Jaxon Williams, a classical guitarist and Spanish Flamenco guitarist. Together their music reflects their classical training as a base mirroring their cultural heritage.

The celebrated GRAMMY nominated Chicago-based Lincoln Trio takes its name from their home, the heartland of the United States, the land of Lincoln. Bringing together performing experience spanning the globe, each member is an artist of international renown. The trio has been praised for its polished presentations of well-known chamber works and its ability to forge new paths with contemporary repertoire.

American harpist Anne Maria Mendieta is making history offering her harp as a new voice for Argentine Tango. A concert soloist and touring artist, Ms. Mendieta performs all style of music, but is best known for performing Argentine Tango on the harp. She will be joined by Teresa Orozco, a passionate, world-class classical and Latin American flutist.
